Chapter 12: Cry of the Hunters

Perspective: Piggy

No Fair!!!

All Jack cares about is killing, killing, and killing. He doesn’t worry about how they will get off the island. Before Jack made his tribe everything was peaceful and no one would fight. I mean there were disagreements but no spear fighting. Now that he is separate Jack is always steeling things from Ralph. Jack started making a cordon to stop Ralph, Sam, and Eric from getting onto “their” side of the island.

It was smart for Ralph to find out what Jack was doing now from Sam and Eric. Because when he found out he was going to kill him and behead Ralph to put his head on a stick in the ground. He knew to run away and go into hiding. Ralph’s feet were distended from being on this island and they really hurt him. Jack was trying to find Ralph so he could kill him he had to think of a way he could get Ralph out of hiding. Jack came up with these signals that they ululated so they could tell each other if they think they are close to Ralph. But that didn’t help so then Jack thought of a diddle that would get Ralph out so he lit the island on fire!! It was horrible but, it actually saved all the boys because it made such a big fire that it caught the attention of a ship.

So then a man with a uniform that had epaulettes on it walked up to Ralph and then they got rescued. So they all got to go home except for me and Simon. We have to be stuck here for the rest of our lives and live through the horrible time that we had here. It’s not fair!!!!!!!

Thats really sad how you left Simon and Piggy on the island! But it was good because it was different. I also like how you used your vocabulary words, good job. :)
