Chapter 11: Castle Rock
Perspective: Simon
Piggy Too!!!
Jack is getting out of control I wish I could go down there and tell them that they need to stop or else another person will die. Ralph is doing a good job of staying alive even with all this nonsense that Jack is making. He is getting really delirious. I can’t believe that Jack would just go into Ralph’s camp and steal Piggy’s glasses. But actually that is how he acts. They need a talisman to protect themselves from Jack.
I think that Ralph should have stopped Piggy from going back for his glasses. I had a bad feeling that something bad was going to happen. He should have made a cessation on the way so they could rest, before they attempted to go to Jack’s fort. When they got to the giant rock wall of the fort they stopped. Jack and his hunters came from the forest. Then Jack started arguing with Ralph and telling him to go away because this is his place and he is bothering his hunters. When he didn’t listen Jack ordered that Sam and Eric were to be tied up on the floor.
I don’t want anyone else to die. I was enough. Ralph should take Piggy, Sam, and Eric back to their camp before anything worse happens. But he doesn’t so Jack and Ralph get into a fight with their spears. Jack stabbed Ralph and ripped off some skin. I am getting a feeling that Roger is getting more power than he can handle. He has control of the boulder that could kill anyone in its path. Then Roger does the unthinkable he truculently pushes down on the lever and the rock goes crashing down the mountain. Everyone there is so shocked that there is no time for them to do anything about it. The boulder slams down Piggy and he falls forty feet until he crashes down below. When he came to a stop his head was cracked open, some stuff spilled out of his head and turned red. That was the end of Piggy…
